Natural wonders of the world

Our magnificent planet is home to some incredible natural wonders that have been created over millions of years as a result of volcanic activity, water and wind erosion, and other causes.

  • The Great Barrier Reef – The world’s most extensive coral reef system, it is the world’s largest single structure built by living organisms and the only reef visible from space.
  • The Dead Sea – one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water is located on the border between Jordan and Israel. It is so salty that you can float in it and no microorganisms can survive in it.
  • Iguazu Falls – Iguazu means “big water” in Guarani, which seems suitable given that it is the world’s biggest waterfall system, consisting of 275 waterfalls.
  • Mount Everest – is the tallest peak in the planet. It is situated on the border between Nepal and Tibet. Climbers of all skill levels flock to the world’s tallest peak.
  • Grand Canyon – is a massive geological marvel carved by glaciers millions of years ago. Its red rocks change colour according on the angle of the light, making a magnificent backdrop for any photograph.
  • Ha Long Bay – the vast bay in northern Vietnam is abundantly peppered with unusual limestone karsts that rise magnificently from the sea, many of which are covered in lush forestation and conceal extensive sea caves.
