Portugal offers a dazzling coastline, not to mention mountains, lakes, and caverns teeming with natural delights. It is a lovely country known for its great cuisine, world-famous beaches, and stunning architecture. 

• Azenhas do mar – the skyline of Azenhas do Mar is one of the most iconic sights of the Portuguese west coast. The waves crashing on the craggy shore, far below the dwellings erected on and against the cliffs. Small village is particularly well-known for its stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. 
• Berlengas Archipelago – it appears to have stemmed from a children’s fairy tale. The fort and lighthouse on the largest island of Berlenga Grande are the archipelago’s icons. This natural reserve is protected; however it is also accessible and visitable. 
• Piodao – monochrome buildings made of black schist stone, with a white-washed church visible from atop the mountain. Piodao exemplifies the Portuguese’s extraordinary ability to adapt to nature. 
• Benagil Cave – it’s a small slice of heaven. This cave is stunning on the inside, with sunshine shining through the ceiling; the waters are pure, the sand is excellent; and the beach is exclusive, accessible only by boat or kayak. The Benagil cave is a one-of-a-kind rock structure with a large eye in the ceiling that enables the sun to shine through. The most well-known sea cave in the Algarve is Benagil.  

Despite being a small European country, the country is a tourist magnet due to its ideal environment, rich cultural past, and low travel expenses. You will never get bored traveling through Portugal’s varied terrain.
