An airport operations specialist’s primary role is to guarantee that commercial and military aircraft take off and land safely. Managing the flight schedule might also entail a variety of additional supportive activities. 

In this position you would: 

• Maintain restricted access to airfields by inspecting the airport’s premises and boundaries. 
• Assist in the smooth coordination of aircraft arrival, departure, loading, refuelling, and parking on the airfield. 
• Maintain a safe operating environment for workers and aircraft. 
• Weather conditions, maintenance work, animal activity, and runway conditions are all monitored to maintain airport safety. 
• Obtain meteorological data from airport instruments, such as temperature, wind conditions, humidity, and air pressure. 
• Maintain flying logs. 
• Your abilities should include recognising an issue and determining the best method to fix it, pay attention to anything without being distracted, do two or more tasks concurrently.
