First and foremost, hello to everyone who is reading this! Let me introduce myself, my name is Diana Dainoraite, I am the ITT Future You Social Media and Website Administrator working at Northern Training Academy. I was born in Lithuania, but I have spent the previous six years in Manchester, one of the most beautiful cities in UK! Throughout these years, I’ve attempted a variety of employment fields in search of the one that best suited me. Half year ago, I found out about the Kickstart Scheme, which I will discuss with you today. I opted to try my hand at the travel and tourism industry, something I had never considered previously, but the Kickstart Scheme enabled me to do so.   

Travelling has always been one of my greatest pleasures in life. I’ve visited practically every country in the European Union, some countries at least a few times, North America and Asia as well. My love of travel began when I was a child; I used to travel often with my family, and I am still working on fulfilling my bucket list.  

When thinking careers, I’ve always had more in common with the business sector. I successfully completed the Business and Administration Level 2 course, and during my Kickstart Scheme I have completed The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing and GTTP Introduction to Travel & Tourism: Passport to the World courses. 

Let me tell you about my experience with the Kickstart Scheme, a government programme which provides young people with high-quality 6-month employment assignments. This programme provided me with the chance to find a suitable match that would allow me to further improve my abilities.  

Why did I choose Northern Training Academy and ITT FUTURE YOU? – I chose Social Media and Website Administrator career at Northern Training Academy and ITT FUTURE YOU because I believed it would provide me with several opportunities to advance in the tourism industry and learn more about travel and tourism. I really enjoy my job because it allows me to express myself, discover more about travel and tourism sector roles, develop content, and promote the travel and tourism industry!   

As well as completing my courses, I am really proud of myself for expanding my understanding of the social networks. I’m excited to see how ITT FUTURE YOU social media keeps growing. I strive every day to boost social media reach by creating compelling content and evaluating data. I’m also focusing forward to the launching of my freshly created ITT Blog, which will occur shortly. 

So, what is next for me? – My future ambitions would be to continue to make progress in my current role, obtain new experiences and abilities, finish additional courses, and push myself to be the greatest.
