If crystal blue seas and flawless white sand aren’t enough to fulfil your vacationing demands, these pink sand beaches will. They’re uncommon, but here are a few to put on your bucket list: 

• Elafonisi Beach, Crete – due to its beautiful pink sand, it is one of Crete’s most popular beaches. Elafonisi is a tiny islet connected to the rest of Crete by a short reef that may be traversed during calm weather. 
• Spiaggia Rosa, Sardinia – one of the most gorgeous beaches in the Mediterranean. It gets its name from the hue of its sand, which is rich in small shards of coral, granite, and shells. The beautiful colour is caused by a pink bacterium that resides inside the shells of posidonia meadows. 
• Harbour Island, Bermuda – three-mile-long pink beach, which stretches the length of the island on its eastern side. This beach is routinely ranked as one of the top five in the world. This island is also home to one of the top dive locations in the world. 
• Barbuda Beach, Caribbean – the beach is practically underdeveloped. It’s also a fantastic snorkelling site. The beach is pinker after the swells have deposited new shells on the coast. If you go at the wrong time, it will resemble any other white-sand beach in the Caribbean.
