Travel to Scotland, where to go and what to do?

Whether you’re already planning a trip to Scotland or you’re seeking ideas, keep reading to find out what to do and where to go.

Scotland is a wonderful country all year, but summer is especially exciting, with so much to see and do!

  • Isle of Skye – it is well worth a visit for its jagged mountain peaks, lunar landscapes, and stunning beaches. Hike to stunning rock formations, taste wonderful fresh seafood, and see waterfalls!
  • Edinburgh – is frequently called one of the world’s most beautiful cities, and there is a large list of popular things to visit. The country’s capital has well-preserved architecture from a variety of historical periods. Edinburgh is also a prominent cultural destination, holding a number of notable events and festivals throughout the year.
  • Fingal’s Cave – Fingal’s Cave, located on the isolated island of Staffa in the Inner Hebrides of Argyll, appears to be something out of a fairy-tale. Fingal’s Cave was formed by an ancient lava flow 60 million years ago.
  • Stirling castle – due to its strategic location defending a crucial crossing point on the River Fort, it is one of Scotland’s most significant castles. The castle is definitely worth a visit; there is a lot to discover.
  • Loch Ness – most visitors to Loch Ness come to see Nessie, the legendary lady of the lake. Although you are unlikely to encounter the Loch Ness Monster, a boat on the lake is a great way to look for her.
