Weird places around the world

If you’re interested in incredible and weird places or just get bored with usual travel destinations and entertainment parks, you should check this stunningly weird list. Each place on this Earth has its own unique features :

  • Island of the dead dolls (Mexico) – it is dedicated to the lost soul of a poor girl who met her fate too soon in strange circumstances. This small island is home to hundreds of terrifying dolls. Their severed limbs, decapitated heads, and blank eyes adorn trees.
  • Spotted Lake (Canada) – in the summer, the water of the lake evaporates and small mineral pools are left behind, each one different in colour to the next. Spotted Lake is very highly concentrated with numerous different minerals.
  • Aokighara (Japan) – also, known as the Suicide Forest. This forest is considered to be the most enchanting forest in the world. Very quiet with hardly any wildlife, it has turned into a common spot among the Japanese to end their life and because of this many Japanese believe that the forest is haunted and dare not go nearby.
  • Pamukkale (Turkey) – A remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site in southwest Turkey. Best known for its mineral-rich thermal waters that flow down the bright white terraces of a steep valley side. In the area, there are 17 hot water springs.
  • Mapimí Silent Zone (Mexico) – a desert patch near Mexico.  The legends say it is an area where radio signals and any type of communications cannot be received due to local magnetic fields, aliens, and “earth energy”. Frequently compared to the Bermuda Triangle.
